Beam Runner
$40/Day $200/Week
Beam Runner™ "Beam Biter" is designed to be an anchoring tool that is easy to use, easy to carry, and which will last for years.
Many jobs require an anchoring system, whether they are building construction, maintenance or industry-related jobs. Here, Beam Runner™ provides an added measure of safety, especially for the first person to tie in or the last one down. Some jobs may not require an anchoring system, but if an easy-to-use one was available, there is no question-it would be used. Beam Runner™ makes that easy yes!
Beam Runner™ is constructed of aircraft-grade aluminum and stainless steel. It is also lightweight, weighing in at approximately 3.5lbs., 4.5lbs. with holster. It will not rust or corrode. Tool maintenance costs are virtually nil!
The locking mechanism is fully automatic. It locks when a worker releases the handle. To protect against accidental release, Beam Runner™ unlocks when handles and safety lock are squeezed together. The eyelet is for attaching a shock-absorbing lanyard. Beam Runner™ "Beam Biter" must be used with a shock-absorbing lanyard.
It will easily take a worker less than one minute to attach Beam Runner™ to the workers' fall protection equipment, and less than 10 seconds to attach to the I-Beam flange
Beam Runner™ also allows the worker to use the tool as a temporary, but secure platform to stand on. It has a strong bite to provide the basis for anchoring in either vertical or horizontal orientation. Beam Runner™ also offers extra possibilities due to its versatile design. The instruction manual describes other applications and orientations possible with Beam Runner™. Beam Runner™ is a security tool that comes with a fitted thigh holster. One hand removes Beam Runner™ from the holster. The holster locks the tool in place to prevent tool from falling out.
